It's Donn, not Donald, hence the 2 n's. I grew up in Wisconsin, the youngest of three boys and as all good Wisconsinites I loved sledding in sub-zero weather, the changing of seasons and of course Green Bay Packer football. I went to college at a small school down in Arkansas, John Brown University. I thought I was there to study medicine, but God had other plans. I graduated from college having only lost a few brain cells to rugby and I moved back to WI for a year. While back in WI I served as a youth worker in the church I grew up in and over that year was sensed God calling me to serve Him in youth ministry. So I packed up and headed to the last place I ever thought I would go- California. I attended and graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary and while there began volunteering at First Evangelical Church Glendale where I have spent increasingly more and more time serving and working there. I met my wife at Glendale church and we were married several years later. If I am not at church I am either watching Packer football, in the mountains nearby biking, or in the gym.

Kimberly… Kimberly… Kimberly… that's a pretty name… Kimberly. I grew up going to FECG and have been walking with the Lord since childhood. I call Downey my home, with my dad, mom, brother, sister, grandma, and puppy (Eugene, Nelia, Ellison, Kaitlin, Guama, Sandy). I am currently a psychology and sociology student at UCLA (go bruins!!!!) and live in Westwood during the school year. I am also involved in InterVarsity Bruin Christian Fellowship there. I try to live by the Greatest Commandment and I love the Gospel of Mark. Troy Bolton and the East High Wildcats have a special place in my heart as well. I believe God is capable of creating fairy tales, and shoutout to TTB.

My name is Brian Chioy and Ive been attending FECG since the 7th grade. I was born on December 24, 1989 in Singapore and moved here to America when I was 11 years old. I am currently a student studying Computer Science at UC Riverside and this coming fall 09 will be the beginning of my third year. I struggled with God when he first called me to be a youth worker because I just could not see myself as one, but am glad I finally stepped out of my comfort zone to obey him. Ive always appreciated all the love, time, and especially patience the youth leaders have invested in me and my walk with God and now I too have the chance to do the same =)

Hello people of God!  My name is Czrilla and I recently graduated from UC Irvine with a degree in ‘Criminology, Law and Society.’  I am currently looking for a job as well as praying about whether or not to go to grad school.  I grew up in a Christian family and have been going to FEC Glendale since I was a baby.  It was not until I was in high school though that I truly understood what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus.  God has given me a passion to fight against injustice and oppression, so if it is God’s will I hope to work with human trafficking victims, especially victims of the sex slave trade.  A few things that I love to do include reading, watching Asian dramas, researching just about anything, people watching and of course, sleeping.  I am totally in love with Disneyland and Ireland and I absolutely love to travel.  I also collect postcards from around the world.  I am super competitive with OCD-like tendencies.  Besides working with the youth, I am involved with Vision.  God has shown and taught me a lot from Vision and through my junior highers.  God has taught me a lot about love and patience as well as moving out of my comfort zone and stepping out in faith.  It is my desire to see the junior highers grow deeper in their walks with Jesus as well as to learn how to do everything with joy and love.  =)

My name is Glenna Lin and I was born on June 1, 1988 in SINGAPORE (WHOOP WHOOP). I currently attend CSU Long Beach as a Sociology major. I danced for a long beach team called Pac Modern Troupe (look them up at pacmodern.com), coached the Cerritos High School Varsity Song, and co-coached the San Diego Charger girls 2009. My dream is to become a pro-dancer or something big in the entertainment industry. God really has blessed my life with wonderful family and friends and I can only hope that I can show his love in High School ministry.

My name is Kendrick Shen, and I was born on July 12, 1985. Depending on when you read this, I am studying to become an English teacher at the University of La Verne, or I am currently teaching High School English. I was called to do youth ministry the summer of 2006. Through a lot of stumbling through my relationship with God and finally maturing, God raised me up to lead worship in the youth ministry. It has been my passion to see young people become passionate worshippers of God not only through song, but through their lives. I thank God for his opportunity in allowing me to be part of His work, showing me the joys of becoming a living sacrifice for Him. The verse that God has branded on to my heart is 1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

No, Slim isn't my real name - the nickname comes from my first initial (S) and my last name (Lim) :D

I'm currently in my 5th year at CSUN as an English Literature major.  As an avid patron of live theatre, my favorite musicals (in no particular order) are Wicked, Hairspray, Rent, A Chorus Line, and Spamalot.  Some of my favorite performers include Tim Talman, Kristoffer Cusick, and Coleen Sexton.

I started going to FEC Glendale in the 5th grade and have been actively involved in the worship, VBS, and Vision ministries since high school.  I sing alto, play drums, guitar, piano, and bass, and I especially love rocking out at Harvest Fest every year with The Oak Itself!
